Henry hare

Getting some screens made at the weekend and I'm meant to be working on some artwork for that but I got distracted by Henry the hare.

...and then more henry hares in different colours.

Many moons ago...

Many moons ago I was featured on the Print Pattern blog.

It's my claim to fame so I think it deserves a blog post! :)

I remember being on my summer hols from uni and wanting to find some inspiration so I googled 'print and pattern' and up popped this post from print and pattern about the Japanese designer Shinzi Katoh.

Ever since then I've been hooked - on both the print pattern blog and Shinzi!
When I graduated and got featured... holey moley I was one happy lady :)

Here's some Shinzi Katoh work, any excuse...

Little houses

I went to London a couple of weekends ago to watch the cricket at Lords.
On our walk to the station we got to walk up such a pretty street.

I took some snaps but they don't really do it justice.

This one on the end even has a spiral staircase inside.

Sorry to the person who opened the front door as I was spying! ops!

The street reminds me of a design I did a while ago in my day job for a highchair for  Toys R Us

Ho hum

Poor little car failed his mot. Ho hum.
Quite a spectacular fail actually, I'm almost proud!

He is now going to be retired from the daily commute and is moving into a barn in the countryside until he can be fixed up. He'll have a tractor and the occasional sheep for company in the barn so won't be too lonely.

Mot day

It's mot day for my tiny car today.
He's a rusty old mini and it's always a nerve wracking time for me on mot day.

Good luck mini!

Loot from Hong Kong

I've been lucky enough to get to travel to asia with my day job and on a recent trip I purchased these goodies at a market in HK. Love them!
I want to make my own little character purses now!

On the same trip I also spotted a scrap of wrapping paper in a shop and the lovely lady from the shop gave it to me for free.
Love the random english phrases on it.
No, I love you more!

Spike, Spot and Neil

Some work I did for Lovli a few years ago just after finishing Uni.

My characters have been given some fetching names,
 especially Neil the elephant!

Post Number One

First post time!

All new to this blogging malarky but here I go with fingers crossed...
