Jackson de Beauvoir

Jackson de Beauvoir is a Dachshund with a blog I recently discovered.

He describes himself as a debonair man about town with impeccable taste, I have to agree.
I discovered him on a blogging journey via the blog Bloesem, who found out about it via JustALittleJoy.

Love how you can end up discovering something amazing by following blog links.

Two little boys

We had our 2 nephews aged 6 and 10 come to stay for a few days.
Kids are hard work!! Lovely, but hard work!!
Hats off to anyone who does it full time.

The best thing we did was take a trip to the Sealife Centre in Brum.
We had a whale of a time! :)

My favourite was the Sea Otters who were all asleep
with their legs sticking straight up in the air - very cute!

Yeh they didn't actually have any whales but, you know...

Hectic

Not had much spare time for blogging lately, life's been hectic round here!

Here's a vintage sausage dog in a knitted vintage sausage dog cardigan
to add some vintage sausage dog sparkle to my blog.

I like vintage sausage dogs :)

You can buy the knitting pattern here if you ever
need a vintage cardigan for your sausage dog...

And here's a sausage dog notepad from Anthropologie:

Mini update

I went to see my rusty little 4 wheeled friend at the weekend.

He hasn't been living in his barn and apparently a family
of flying cows have moved into the tree above him. So much poo!!!

Anyway we made a start and stripped out all of the
interior so that it doesn't get eaten by pesky mice.
I am now storing the insides of a mini in my old bedroom
at the Underhill senior's house. Lucky them! :)

We discovered lots of rust under everything,
which was a surprise (ahem), and a few holes.

This is a thoroughly interesting photo of a rust hole in the floor:

Will try not to be a boring rusty car talking person too much on this blog!

Last rust photo for a while...

29 Golds

It's all over then!

65 medals for Team GB overall and most definitely a deeper bum imprint on our sofa.
A bloody good couple of weeks if you ask me!

Dressage Gold

Well done Charlotte Dujardin and her horse Valegro for winning individual Gold today!

Le Wiggo

Team GB have done so well in the cycling this year!
Thought I'd do a little tribute to Bradley Wiggins.

In case you're not sure who he is he won the Tour De France,
and then a Gold in the Olympic Men's Time Trials.

Plus he's got some pretty decent side burns!

I think I have a little crush...

Lovely London

I was in London for a few days last week doing some trend research for my job.
I love London! Need to make time to actually go as a tourist some day and do one of those open top bus tours.

In other news two golds for Team GB Equestrian!!! Amazing! Still glued to the tv- it's been tv dinners every night for me! :)

Some pictures I took of some geometric designs in the window of Jaeger:
And an amazing flowery bike in Liberty. I want one!

Olympics Addiction

Another busy week for me this week which started with a trip to the Equestrian Cross Country Olympics on Monday. It was fab! Gloriously sunny all day, amazing course through Greenwich Park and the atmosphere was electric! We were so lucky to get tickets!!

I've been addicted to watching the Olympics since it started last weekend, to be honest I haven't left home all weekend because I've been watching it and I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do when it's all over, heh. Off to watch the men's 100m final on telly in a minute - my money is on Bolt!!

Here's a few photos from Monday...
