I watched the olympics opening ceremony in awe last night, I really thought it was amazing and made me proud to be an eccentric Brit! Especially loved the bit with the Queen and Daniel Craig - good on you Liz! 86 and still able to parachute out the helicopter heh heh!
I'm still not too keen on the 2012 Olympic characters I'm afraid, can't get over that scary eye. I was googling pictures of them for this post and came across Waldi, the mascot for the 1972 Munich games and I think he is now my fave ever mascot (nothing to do with my obsession with sausage doggies of course...)
